Vidalia Onion Salad

Vidalia Onion Salad
6 Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. sugar cane vinegar
1 c. light olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. white onion, minced
1 Tbsp. bell pepper, minced
2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of red pepper
Pinch of basil
Pinch of oregano
Pinch of thyme
4 drops of Tabasco sauce
Combine all ingredients in a Ziplock bag. Place bag in a large bowl.
Marinate overnight, turning bag frequently to cover all onions. Serve as
a compliment to a green salad.
